Privacy policy
Showbook is made by Schram Media, Inc. ("we"). This policy explains what Showbook collects, why, and what you can do about it. Short version: we collect only what's needed to build your projects, we don't sell or share it for advertising, and there's no tracking.
What stays on your device
- Your projects as shown in the app, plus your decisions on the cross-check list and your notes.
- Your calendar, if you allow access: Showbook reads it on your device to show your next few days. It isn't sent to us or anyone else.
What we collect
- The beta app doesn't collect personal data. It has no analytics, ads or tracking. Testers see a sample project.
- Showbook Lab (by invitation): if you forward emails to your project's Showbook address, we receive and store those emails and their attachments (for 30 days), your sender address, and the project details extracted from them. We only accept mail from email addresses you've confirmed as yours.
- Connecting your AI assistant (optional): if you connect Showbook to Claude, ChatGPT or another assistant, we store a sign-in token so that assistant can read and update your projects when you ask it to.
- This website counts visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't identify you.
- TestFlight: Apple may share crash reports and the feedback you choose to send with us. Apple's handling is covered by Apple's privacy policy.
Who processes it
- Cloudflare hosts Showbook's servers, email inbox, database and file storage.
- Anthropic (Claude) reads forwarded emails and attachments to extract project details. Content is sent to Anthropic only for that purpose, under its commercial terms for business customers.
- Apple distributes the app through TestFlight and the App Store.
Before any of your content goes to an AI service, Showbook tells you which one and asks for your permission. We never sell personal data or use it for advertising.
Your choices
- Don't forward anything you're not allowed to share. Your client agreements may limit it.
- Ask for a copy or deletion of your data at wolf@schram-media.com. We answer within 30 days.
- Disconnect your AI assistant from that assistant's settings at any time.
How long we keep it
- Original emails and attachments you forward are deleted from our servers 30 days after they arrive. What Showbook read from them (schedule, people, travel and so on) stays in your project.
- Projects are kept for up to one year after they end. Before a project is removed, we'll ask you to download it as an archive.
- Ask us to delete everything at any time: wolf@schram-media.com. We do it within 30 days, unless the law requires us to keep something.
Security
Connections are encrypted (HTTPS). Access to our systems uses passkeys and per-person tokens. No system is perfectly secure; if something goes wrong that affects you, we'll tell you.
Children
Showbook is a work tool for adults and isn't meant for children under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and tell beta testers about important changes.
